ASE Cloud Services Chatbot Interface
AI Consulting Services from ASE Cloud Services is independent advice on using AI in your organisation: which applications make sense, which supplier fits, and what the AI Act and the GDPR require of you. You hire us by the hour, on site or remotely, with no subscription and no obligation to buy anything from us afterwards.
Most AI projects fail not because of the technology, but because of the wrong choice of supplier, an unclear business case or compliance issues that are only addressed too late. Often, you only realise it when it’s too late: the hidden costs in the contract, the dependency you can no longer escape. On top of that comes the AI Act, which has largely applied since 2 August 2026, with fines of up to 7 per cent of annual turnover. So the question is not whether you use AI, but how you can stay one step ahead of these pitfalls.
Our MIT-certified experts act as your strategic AI partner. From independent vendor assessments to contract negotiation, we protect your interests in a market rife with vendor agendas and sales pressure. With over 15 years’ experience in enterprise IT and specialisation in European compliance, we work with you to develop an AI roadmap that is not only secure and compliant, but also strengthens your competitive advantage.
We don’t sell vendor solutions that we wouldn’t use ourselves. Sometimes our advice is: postpone the decision, choose a different provider, or build it yourself. Honesty always comes before revenue. And you’ll liaise directly with your expert, without an account management layer.
The rate is €175 per consultant per hour, excluding VAT. On site you book at least a half-day of four hours (€700 per consultant); a remote session can be booked per hour, with no minimum. Most questions are handled by one consultant. If a question is both legal and technical, we assign two, and you hear that in advance, together with the estimate of hours.
A first introductory call of 30 minutes is free; in it you receive a firm estimate of the number of hours and who will do the work. Most questions (vendor selection, AI Act classification of one system, review of a data processing agreement) fit in four to twelve hours. If it runs over, you hear that beforehand.
Our rate is public because we believe you should be able to see it before you call us. No bespoke quote, no price range, no “price on request”: what is stated here is what you pay.
An overview of the AI systems, data and suppliers already running in your organisation. For each system, its AI Act risk category and what that means for you. And a list of the three decisions to take first, with the cost of postponing each one.
1. Discovery and Initial Assessment: Together, we map out which AI systems, data, and vendors are already in use within your organization. You’ll then have a clear picture of where you stand.
2. AI Act Risk Classification: For each AI system, we determine which risk category it falls into and what that means for your obligations. This includes the documentation you need for your auditor.
3. Architecture and Solution Proposal: A well-founded proposal outlining what the solution will look like, where your data will be stored, and how everything can remain within Europe.
4. Vendor Selection Report: We assess the candidates based on technology, privacy, security, and references, and provide a clear report with a well-supported recommendation.
5. Data Processing Agreement Review: We review your vendor’s Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and highlight the points that require attention, helping ensure your GDPR position is solid.
6. Management and Monitoring Agreements: You receive a proposal with KPIs, regular review points, and clear agreements on who is responsible for what after go-live.
European Independence Where Others Fall Short
Where large international service providers make you dependent on non-European technology, ASE offers fully local solutions. Our AI Consulting operates exclusively in European data centers, meaning your strategic plans are never exposed to foreign legislation or geopolitical risks.
Local Expertise with World-Class Certifications
Our MIT- and Purdue University-certified experts understand not only the latest AI developments, but also the Dutch and European context in which you operate. With more than 15 years of Enterprise IT experience, we provide tailored advice that aligns with local compliance requirements and cultural nuances, something international providers cannot match.
Human Control in an AI World
Our Human-in-the-Loop approach is the foundation of everything we do, ensuring that AI implementations remain ethical and secure. While others leave you to rely on automated systems, our experts oversee every step. This personal approach builds trust among organizations in regulated sectors and helps prevent costly compliance issues.
Strategic Value, Not Just Technology
Through independent vendor evaluation and proactive contract negotiation, we protect you from excessive costs and vendor lock-in. Our focus on energy-efficient AI models and anticipation of the 2026 AI Act makes us more than a technology provider: we are your strategic partner for sustainable digital autonomy.
If you want a full review of your AI governance against ISO/IEC 42001 and the AI Act before an advisory project, the GAP Assessment is the right starting point: on average 40 to 60 hours, including a management presentation. If the main need is training staff, the AI Adoption Programme is a better fit than loose consulting hours.
Strategic guidance and independent expertise for successful AI adoption in Europe.
In a short, no-obligation consultation, we assess your current situation, identify opportunities, and provide clear advice on the best next steps. This helps you avoid costly AI missteps before making an investment.
Both. We provide end-to-end guidance from strategy through full implementation, including project management, vendor coordination, integration support, and team training. You’ll have one dedicated point of contact throughout the entire journey.
It means we have no financial interests in specific AI vendors or platforms. This allows us to evaluate options objectively and recommend what is best for your organization, without sales pressure or vendor lock-in.
We do the research, you make the choice. We verify that the technology genuinely meets your needs, assess whether the provider complies with GDPR and European legislation, check references, review the contract for risks, and evaluate security and where your data is stored.
We make sure you can always leave when you want: clear contractual agreements, the ability to take your data with you at any time, no closed systems that only the vendor can work with, and the freedom to choose. You remain in control, not the vendor.
The EU AI Act is being introduced in phases, with most obligations in effect since 2 August 2026 and fines of up to 7% of global annual turnover for non-compliance. We help you determine which risk category each of your AI applications falls into and which compliance measures are required.

We offer flexible support, ranging from a few months to long-term partnerships. We monitor AI performance, analyze usage patterns, identify opportunities for improvement, and adjust the strategy based on results and changing needs.
